Hey guys! I discovered a wonderful thing the other day when working on a couple projects. Seriously wonderful.
Ever wanted to print a large image (such as a poster) over multiple pages? Or wanted to resize an image to print over multiple pages?
Of course you have. Read on.
Most people know that programs such as Photoshop have that capability. But for those of us that don’t have Photoshop, or are just trying to do a quick project without purchasing something fancy, there is a built-in Windows program to accomplish the task.
Turns out that you can do this in Paint. What!?!? Yes. Microsoft paint.
I’ll do a quick run-down for you:
Open the image to print in Paint. Resize if necessary.
Select: File >> Page Setup or Print >> Page Setup.
Under Scaling, select: Fit To >> change settings to the size you want.
Click OK and then Print All Pages.
Now, just tape your pages together and continue on with your project.
And that’s that!
I was so excited when this worked out. Saved me such a headache and I hope it does the same for you!
Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to clarify.
