Simple Fall Wreath

We may already be a few days into fall, but I’m still trying to get my act together to set up all my decor. Better late than never I suppose! I’ve been dreaming up wreath for a few weeks now … think ‘classic fall.’

Some twigs here, branches there.

Autumn leaves.

Perhaps a surprise pumpkin.

And a few touches of gold thrown in the mix.

For those of you who work on a similar timeline, here’s a simple wreath to charm up that front door. Cus when you’re already behind, quick and simple is the way to go 😉

Supplies:

Step 1.

Gather your supplies and take an artistic photo.

Ok … that step really isn’t totally necessary. I just really like all the colors in this photo.

Moving on.

Actual Step 1.

Separate the faux foliage into sections and cut the stems with wire cutters. Insert the stems into the grapevine wreath as you see fit.

Rearrange 5000 times until you like it.

Rearrange again just for good measure.

View wreath from every possible angle to make sure you really do, in fact, like what you see.

Glue in place.

Step 2.

Add a focal point. I used a grapevine pumpkin, but it could be a bow or scarecrow or anything else.

Strut your style.

Glue in place.

Step 3.

Fill in around the pumpkin.

Add some cool golden poof things.

Throw in some more leaves.

Berries? Don’t mind if I do.

Step 4.

Finish it off with a jute rope loop at the top for hanging.

Hang on the door, take a step back, and admire your masterpiece.

*sigh*

Fall is in the air 🙂
